Experienced Digital Production Designer

We are looking for one UX / digital designer for a long-term software design and development engagement in the furniture retail industry. The product is a mobile and tablet app for iOS and Android with thousands of users worldwide.

You will be collaborating directly with an extended team in Munich, and with a great development team in India. You will work independently on tasks, and work directly with the client and the team conceptualizing new features, and on improving and advancing the product and the broader service system. You will evolve in an international and multi-culture environment. You will be involved with conversations with the client and should have strong communication skills.

You should have extensive experience in building and extending a UI design language system, strong knowledge in mobile design (iOS & Android), experience with agile design and development, as well as design documentation (Photoshop/Illustrator), and providing the developers with needed input and assets. Excellent English (verbal & written) and good communication skills are a must. Experience with remote collaboration, as well as prototyping skills are very welcome. You have an strong eye for details.

Your tasks involve:
* Daily collaboration with the client, the development team and other related projects
* Conceptualizing features
* Designing UI solutions
* Documentation of the design in an online Wiki (Confluence)
* Documentation of visual design in redlined screens & components
* Creation of assets for development
* Documentation of interaction design in annotated wireframes and flows
* Creation of prototypes to communicate the design intent to the client and the developers
